Situated in Dundalk for over 25 years, National Pen is part of the National Pen Corporation whose Head Office is in San Diego, California. We are a Guaranteed Irish Company, with a work force in excess of 270 but during our busy period (August to December) that rises to over 550 up to Christmas.

We provide business and professional people with imprinted pens, pencils and other specialty items for their office and advertising needs. Through mail order marketing of our products we have successfully attained a reputation for quality within the industry. Our business is generated by using a combination of Direct Mail Marketing and Telemarketing and our product needs are serviced by our own on-site manufacturing facility.

At National Pen we strive to be the worldwide leader in providing high value promotional products for businesses and professionals by providing expert knowledge and effective promotional products. With a workforce from over 30 different countries with 16 working languages, we provide a very diverse and multi-cultural environment in which to work with ongoing training to provide you with the tools to be successful.

The warehouse manufacturing environment is a fascinating area to view to actually see the product start from scratch and see it develop into a package to be posted out.

The Business Centre area is an intimate environment covering two floors dividing into desks across the languages. Each agent has their own desk space, headset and PC.

The culture is quite informal and very country orientated, quite different to your standard corporate Contact Centers in the big cities. With this comes a very relaxed and open environment where we promote an ethos of helping one another and having a chat and getting to know people. 


We are looking for bilingual speakers for several job opportunities:
  •     Customer service
  •     Upselling
  •     Telesales
  •     Account Management

1.    Customer service :
The Call Centre Agent is responsible for answering 'pre' and 'after' sales calls, in addition to mail order entry. He or she will be assessed by the number of calls, time on line, average handling time and average speed of answer. Most of the agent's tasks will be actioned on-line using Oracle (training provided).
2.    Upselling :
The Up-selling Agent is responsible for generating sales from existing customer orders. He or she will be assessed by the revenue generated from selling activities, number of orders approved and the quality and accuracy of order entry.
3.    Telesales :
You will be required to sell a range of National Pen products to existing customers through outbound telephone calling. In doing so, they will provide our customers with a professional and courteous service, whilst establishing long-term customer relationships.
4.    Account Management
You will be required to sell a range of National Pen product to existing customers through outbound telephone calling.  In doing so, they will provide our customers with a professional and courteous service, whilst establishing long-term customer relationships with your own portfolio of clients.
All sales roles are with existing customers so NO COLD CALLING

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working for a multinational as well as sampling all Ireland has to offer, working half way between Dublin and Belfast!!!
